Kamla Nehru Public School, Chak Hakim, Phagwara celebrated its Annual function on 19th November 2022 with great pomp and show. The Theme of the Annual Function was “Road2Recovery” #BuildBackBetter Post Covid. Esteemed Chief Guest Mr. Nitin Khosla, Managing Director of ESS ESS KAY ENGG. CO. PVT. LTD. honourable Mr. Pankaj Sardana, President, School Managing Committee, Ms. Divya Sardana were the Guest of Honour. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp. The school Annual Report was read by School Prefectorial board which traced the significant progress made during the last one year by KNPS. The cultural bonanza presented by approx 883 students from grade Nursery to IX enthralled one and all. Grade 4 and 5 presented contemporary dance on the theme Road2Recovery and grade 7 spread the powerful message by walking on the ramp for SDG 13 Climate Action. The focus of the Annual function was Sustainable Development Goals 2030, framed by the UNO. Every item focused on SDGs. Through different dances, songs and plays the students generated awareness about SDGs. The Chief Guest Mr. Nitin Khosla congratulated the students and the staff for putting up a wonderful show. The School Principal Ms. P.K.Dhillon stated that Kamla Nehru Public School initiated the international research project Road2Recovery in which 2800 students from 16 different countries are collaborating. The project is initiated to rebuild foundational competence post Covid.
