On 12.11.22, Kamla Nehru Public School, Phagwara organised 13th Annual Sports Meet on the theme Road2Recovery #BuildBackBetter Post Covid”. The chief guest was Dr. Nayan Jassal ADC Phagwara. The Guest of honour was Mr. Pankaj Sardana , President School Managing Committee. 1400 students from Grade Nursery to Grade XII participated in the 13th Annual sports Meet at Kamla Nehru Public School. School Alumni and Sports Captain held the flame of sportsmanship high as a symbol of team spirit. Students from grade Nursery to grade XII put up various dance performances. 59 track and field events were concluded. Shot Put, Discus Throw, Long Jump, 100m, 200m flat race and Inter school 4×100 m relay were held. Grade IX and Grade VI students exhibited Callisthenic Exercises, 70 students of Grade V performed yoga asana which was applauded by one and all. 132 students of Grade 12 Science paid tribute to Covid warriors on the theme #BuildBackBetterPostCovid. Shivalik House bagged the Annual Sports Trophy. Honourable Chief Guest Dr. Nayan Jassal appreciated the efforts of KNPS to promote good health and well-being amongst the students. The school Principal Ms. Paramjeet Kaur Dhillon thanked all the parents and dignitaries who were present to witness the Annual mega event.
