Kamla Nehru public school, Chak Hakim, Phagwara organized #Sahodaya Inter-school Panel Discussion on 16th May 2017.It was done under British Council’s #InternationalSchoolAward activity ‘Cybersecurity and Cyber Bullying ’ in which 50 students of 25 different #CBSE schools participated.There were 5 topics for discussion –‘Young or old cyber safety is for all’,’Online harassment has an offline impact’,’School’s role in cyber security’,’W…hy we avoid cyber ethics?’,’Universal concern cyber security is universal responsibility ’. Every panel was given 15 minutes for discussion. In this Panel Discussion Dr. Amandeep, Associate Professor & Assistant Director, Lovely Professional University, Ms. Himani Mittal , Product Specialist & Soft Skilled trainer, Madhuban Educational Books, Mr. Deepak Prashar, HOD, CSE Department, Lovely Professional University graced the event as the honorable members of the Jury. Two best panelists were selected from each panel .The Chief Guest of the day , Ms.P.K. Dhillon thanked the respected jury members and the Guest of Honor Ms. Harwinder Kaur, Principal Kamla Nehru college of Education for women. The Principal Ms.P.K.Dhillon stated that Cyber Security and Cyber Bullying are the most relevant topics in today’s world and as a responsible Global Citizen one should give valuable contribution to spread awareness among people to become a cyber safe user.
