Kamla Nehru Public School recipient of Biggest Impact Award ASIA Pacific Region 2021Kamla Nehru Public School, Phagwara is the Winner of the Microsoft Showcase School Biggest Impact award for the ASIA Pacific Region for the year 2020-2021 announced during the Virtual Showcase School Summit on 16th November 2021 by Microsoft Team, USA. The Asia Pacific region includes countries like China, Japan, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Philippines etc., Three biggest impact awards have been announced on 16th November 2021. Kamla Nehru Public School from Asia Pacific region, Nikola Tesla STEM High School, USA from Americas and Zespół Szkół Technicznych im, Poland from Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The School Principal Ms. Paramjeet Kaur Dhillon shared that Kamla Nehru Public School is a Microsoft Showcase School since 2015. The school impacted the exclusive international community through a worldwide RiseUp4SDGs project with 1064 educators, 131 panelist, 61 countries, 9525 students engaged with technology for SDGs Advocacy. The school invited heads of states, UN bodies, British Council, Govt entities, Principals, teachers and students to bring the world together with sustainability as a binding element. KNPS team was not slowed down by the pandemic. The school rose to the challenge, supported other leaders and inspired 1000’s of teachers, students and schools across India to embrace digital transformation. The school opened doors to the Philippines Govt- Dept of Education and Bangladesh Govt teachers witnessing the virtual classes of teachers of Kamla Nehru Public School. Mr. Pankaj Sardana President School managing committee congratulated the students, staff and parents for this spectacular success. The President complimented the school for receiving the Microsoft Showcase School Biggest Impact award for the ASIA Pacific Region for the year 2020-2021.
