The School commemorated the birth anniversary of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad, India’s first Union Minister of Education by organizing a talk by Senior Coordinators Ms Manjinder Kaur and Mr. Rajeev today during the Morning Assembly.

Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad was responsible for setting education bodied like AICTE and UGC and apart from these, institutions like the IIT’s, IISC and the School of Architecture and Planning were his creations.
Even though he did not receive any formal schooling he was well versed in Urdu, Persian, Arabic, and Hindi. He was also known to be a scholar of mathematics, philosophy, world history, and science.
Maulana Azad was also a prominent journalist in his time and was a part of the Indian Nationalist Movement.
