Kamla Nehru Public School Phagwara is participating in Global Celebrations for #Act4SDGs in September 2019.

To Promote United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 9 “Industry Innovation and Infrastructure”, 85 students of XI and XII of Kamla Nehru Public School, Phagwara visited GNA GEARS an automobile industry.

Students came to know how manufacturing work is actually done as they saw workers doing various process like Machining, casting, stamping, broaching, hobbing etc.

Students also visited GNA UNIVERSITY and attended sessions on automation and power of compounding, career opportunities in media, animation, designing, robotics mechanical and automation.
Students also visited robotics, automation, designing , innovation and hotel management labs during the visit to GNA University.

The School Principal Ms Paramjeet Kaur Dhillon thanked students and staff for joining the Global Movement for #Act4SDGs.
