Kamla Nehru Public School Phagwara celebrated International Peace Day. On 21st September 2019, students from Grade 1 to 12 participated in Community Singing for Peace in the School. The School has dedicated entire September month for #Act4SDGs Celebrations. To #Act4SDGs Kamla Nehru Public School Phagwara has commemorated International Peace Day on 21st September 2019 by organizing a “Shanti Path” (Peace Prayers in three different languages). We commemorated 150th Birth Anniversary of Gandhi Ji by singing Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram Patita Pavan Sitaram Sitaram and 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji by reciting Religious Punjabi song during the mass Peace Prayers. Mr. Malkiat Singh Ragbotra -Secretary and eminent members of Environment Association Phagwara also joined with the School during Shanti Path. The School Principal Ms Paramjeet Kaur Dhillon addressed the students on Sustainable Development Goal 16 “Peace Justice and Strong Institutions” and inspired them to live in harmony with nature and with each other.
