On 7th March 2018, Kamla Nehru Public School, Phagwara organized workshop on Artificial Intelligence for the teachers. 73 educators of Kamla Nehru Public School, Phagwara participated in the same. Mr. Aditya Khamparia – Department of Computer Science and Intelligent Systems form Lovely Professional University was the resource person. The primary objective of this awareness session was to facilitate the teachers about the rapidly growing fields of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in today’s scenario. During the awareness session a range of topics related to artificial intelligence such as virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, and how to be prepared for such technologies was discussed.
The School Principal, Ms. P.K.Dhillon stated that KNPS teachers are regularly updated with the latest teaching technologies in education. She also mentioned that technology can, however never replace emotional support provided by teachers to their students.
