We are immensely proud to announce that Kamla Nehru Public School, Phagwara, has added another feather to its cap by being honoured with the prestigious GOLD MEMBER recognition in the SDGs2SaveTheWorld – International Collaborative Project Cohort 8 (2025). This project was organized by Delhi Public School in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and global partners.

A team of six talented Grade 7 students, under the mentorship of Ms. Renu Bala, represented our school with immense pride and purpose from 5th February to 21st April 2025. Their project, focusing on #SDG16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, addressed the theme of discrimination through a series of impactful activities, including:

πŸ”Ή Creating an introductory video
πŸ”Ή Leading interactive awareness sessions
πŸ”Ή Discussing real-life instances of injustice
πŸ”Ή Capturing photographic evidence to amplify unheard voices

Ms. P.K. Dhillon, Principal (Administration and Innovation), expressed her appreciation for the unwavering commitment of these young changemakers. She emphasized that real-life learning empowers students when they engage in projects addressing global issues. Their voices matter, and their actions serve as a powerful source of inspiration for others.

This achievement reflects our continued commitment to nurturing global citizens who act with empathy, integrity, and purpose.
