Students of Kamla Nehru Public School, Phagwara, are participating in Global Enterprise Challenge 2018 in collaboration with Broadclyst Primary School, UK.  22 schools from 15 countries around the world are engaged in this International Entrepreneurship Project. Students are manufacturing and retailing the stuffed toys made up of recycled cloth. They are promoting UNO 17 Sustainable Development Goals number 12 i.e. Responsible Consumption and Production. Students learn to run a real time business using Office 365 ids and Microsoft Tools such as Yammer, Power Point, Word, Outlook, Skype, Forms, One drive. Students have designed company name, logo, slogan, sample products and conducted a market survey. They are getting products made by generating employment for village ladies. The young entrepreneurs are putting up stalls within the school campus during recess and special events. The school Principal Ms. P. K. Dhillon stated that along with the academic excellence, the school is giving opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills in the students.” She appreciated the hard work and efforts put in by these young budding entrepreneurs.
