The school celebrated Van Mahotsav Day on 21th July 2018 with great fervour. It was organized to make the students aware of the moral responsibility it needs to shoulder to take care of the environment. The Chief Guest , Mr. Mohammad Tayyab, (IAS), Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala, Major Dr.Sumit Mudh , SDM Phagwara, Mr. I.K.Sardana, President School Managing Committee, the School Principal Ms. P.K.Dhillon, Mr.K.K.Sardana, President Environment club and members of Environmental Club Phagwara graced the occasion. The Chief Guest , Mr. Mohammad Tayyab, (IAS), Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala, planted the sapling and also inaugurated the Atal Tinkering Lab. Kamla Nehru Public School is the 1st school in Phagwara selected for setting up of Atal Tinkering Laboratories (ATL) under the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) of the NITI Aayog Government of India. ATL is the platform for the students to dream, explore and innovate.
