Kamla Nehru Public School, Phagwara is proud to be one of the 11 National winners of the All India Morning Assembly contest conducted by Earth Day Network, India. The special morning Assembly to commemorate Earth Day was organized in April 2017. Winners received a Solar Education kit from Vikram Solar. The Solar Educational kit contains a solar panel, that can run a fan, a LED lamp and a mobile charger. Ms. P.K.Dhillon, Principal congratulated everyone during the special morning assembly. KNPS promotes green energy and has solar panels installed on the roof of the building. Students are encouraged to participate in innovative programs that contribute to sustaining a clean and green environment.
