International Policy of the School


Teachers from Partner School - Irk Valley Community School, Manchester, U.K. visit Kamla Nehru Public School

Two U.K teachers Ms.Bethany Walkingshaw (Year 3 to 6 teacher) and Mr. Christopher Glynn (higher level Teaching Assistant) of Irk Valley Community School, Manchester on 6 Aug 2015. They were welcomed in traditional Indian style. A special assembly was also organized in their honour. The day became memorable with the presence of four U.K. teachers two from Manchester and two from Wellesley House School, Kent, U.K. The investiture ceremony for the school Prefectorial Board was also organized. The parents of members of Perfectorial Board along with the Principal Ms.P.K.Dhillon and U.K teachers pinned up the badges to the appointment holders. The Prefectorial Board pledged to work for the welfare of the school and society. The School Principal thanked the U.K. teachers and parents for gracing the occasion.

Kamla Nehru Public School, Chak Hakim, Phagwara welcome two U.K. teachers Ms. Elena Escudero (Spanish Teacher) and Mr.Mathew Wilfred Nichol (Head of Geography Deptt.) of Wellesley House, Kent, U.K. They were welcomed in traditional Indian style. A special assembly was organized in their honour. The students of Grade 8 presented Scottish Dance and Music choir sang welcome song. These teachers had a school tour after the assembly. They visited all the classes and interacted with the students. The school Principal Ms. P.K.Dhillon informed that the U.K. teachers are visited the school under Connecting Classrooms Teacher Exchange Programme. During their stay, they taught as well as observed the teaching methodologies of the school.
